Company History

 

Unlimited Travel Sh.p.k is a travel agency and tour operator founded in 2009 in Durres, Albania. The company has its modest beginnings a few years ago, with an activity which was consolidated and improved over time. Already tested in the Albanian market, with a qualified staff of more than 20 dedicated professionals, we work hard to provide to our clients the most authentic and personalized travel experiences, driven by our long-term goal towards the creation of sustained responsible torusim. As part of our intense contribution to the sustainability of the environment while travelling, it is worth mentioning the implementation by our company of various touristic packages in this direction. The company has recently extended its operations by opening another branch in Tirana, the capital of Albania.

The company operates in the T&T industry, serving all types of tourists, both inbound and outbound. Our main focus lays in offering differentiated and personalised tourist packages, with special emphasis on the local markets’ well-being and benefits. Our sensitivity towards

both cultural and environmental issues is at the heart of our unique value proposition. For that matter, what distinguishes our tourism products from others’ is that they tend to have the lowest impact on the environment and the greatest connection to the local customs, history, and nature.

Our core business concept revolves around the core values of our company. We can’t stress enough the high level of priority we attribute to the creation of differentiated, unique travel experiences for our clients. The tourist packages we design focus on providing to them the most authentic travel experience. Moreover, providing low-impact tours with the purpose of benefiting both tourists and local countries stands high on our agenda. Being at the presentation phase, we are striving to educate our target market with this innovative, environmentally- friendly and responsible philosophy of travelling. In this respect, we have also managed to reflect our new way of doing business into our new slogan, aligning it to our responsible tourism philosophy. ‘Travel responsibly’ is what we invite our clients to enjoy and be part of!

But in what ways is our company highly sensitive to low-impact tourist packages?

Our offerings are designed so as to provide as little negative effects as possible at a local level. As such, some of the activities we engage in are listed as follows:

  • Employ local tour guides and partners, in order to provide to our clients the closest approach to the local customs, culture, lifestyle, etc.
  • Engage in local community’s campaigns to protect the environment while travelling.
  • Keep small sized groups in order to minimize negative effects and provide services of better quality.
  • Visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites are a vital part of our tours.
  • We aim at cooperating with small local hotels as a way to promote the local economy based mostly on entrepreneurial activities of the destinations we are staying.
  • Promote the ‘zero waste’ philosophy in different social and touristic events, such as the International Film Festival, etc.

It is worth mentioning however, that the experiences of our company are channelled in three distinct directions, respectively: tourist packages creation and implementation, project in the framework of environmental sustainability and webpage creation and maintenance. In this sense, we can say that we have added value to our core business by diversifying the range of services offered.
